Mikayla's Mammoth

Mikayla's Mamoth was conceived a giant industrial vehicle originally built for finding Imulsion deposits throughout the planet. It is supposed to be a self contained environment that can sustain a small crew. The drills that would be deployed are an homage to Gears 2, though we never ended up showing this off unfortunately.
The concept of this was based on an initial pitch concept by Manuel DuPong, which was even bigger than this behemoth. We used Unreal Engine and Maya to block it out, then I rendered it in Modo and did a bunch of painting and detailing.

After we the final model was completed, which had to be broken up into several large meshes, I also provided feedback, references and overpaints for the texturing and material work of the final asset.
